Lady Oscar [casual puffy shirt] (Rose of Versailles)
Costume notes:
I wanted a casual, comfortable cosplay for evenings or day zero at con, and I love Lady Oscar, so I decided to make a casual outfit of hers. This isn't based on one specific casual outfit she has, but is rather a mix of elements from several pieces of art of her in a puffy shirt. Thankfully, this turned out comfy and fun to wear!
Construction notes:
Shirt is made from an absurd amount of quality cotton muslin. I basically made up the pattern as I went. Leggings are storebought, though I made sure to get bellbottom ones, since she is usually depicted in bellbottoms (hey, it's a series from the 1970s, what do you expect?).
I want everyone to know that the sleeves have a combined nine yards of lace at the cuff.
