Oh, Shizuku-tan. My Shizuku-tan cosplay has a bit of a history to her. I technically debuted her in 2023, but I was deeply unhappy with how I looked in her. I refit the costume the summer of 2024, but when I pulled her back out to finish her, I was still very unhappy.

So I remade a bunch.

The apron was entirely taken apart and mostly redone (recut the ruffle shape, entirely replaced the waistband), the bodice was entirely redone, and the petticoat was finally finished. My wig is also entirely new.

I put her under my 2025 cosplays because I feel like this is the actual debut of my Shizuku Kuroe cosplay, rather than the one time I wore her in 2023.

The bodice was patterned with the duct tape method, as it's such an odd shape and needed to fit over the Neo Oppai Sister I wear with it. The skirt is a double circle skirt, and the sleeves have single circles for the sleeves. The petticoat is all rectangles, as are the sleeve ruffles, but the shoulder ruffles on the apron are circular (I used the interior of the circles for the apron itself to save fabric), since I wanted them to be very full. The headdress is a typical lolita-style rectangle headdress.

For fabrics, I used black bottomweight sateen from Joann (RIP my beloved fabric) for the dress and polyester voile from Fabric Wholesale Direct for the all the grey. The skirt has wide horsehair braid so it can hold the swoops from the excess fabric circumference and have it stand out a little from the petticoat. I decided a sheer apron would really emphasize the delicacy and sexiness of the design, and got the idea from some designs from Candy Fruit, a Japanese maid outfit company. The apron shoulder ruffles have stiff petticoat netting in them so they can hold some shape. Most of the lace is the same lace yardage, but I used a more delicate, wider lace on the headdress, along with some added lace (the same as the lacing lace from the bodice) put together into a design underneath the headdress lacing to create more interesting texture. The dress has a metal zipper in back to show off the character's BDSM role and to coordinate with her metal slave collar.
